JBL Launches Kid-Friendly Headphones Designed for Safe and Smart Listening

JBL has released a new set of headphones for kids, focusing on safety and comfort.

There are three types of headphones: the wireless JBL Junior 470NC, JBL Junior 320BT, and the wired JBL Junior 320. These headphones include a JBL Safe Sound feature that limits volume and playtime, along with activity reports and reminders, ensuring kids have a fun and safe listening experience.

Michael Sherman, a Senior Strategy Manager at JBL, said, “We are dedicated to innovation, which is why we’ve created the JBL Junior headphones with the JBL Safe Sound feature for young listeners. Our JBL Headphones App allows parents to control the volume and listening time, making it easy to monitor their kids’ audio habits.”

To help parents, JBL has improved the controls in the JBL Headphones app, letting them set maximum volume levels and how long their kids can listen. The app also shows real-time volume and listening time, with daily or weekly reports. The JBL Junior 470NC has Active Noise Cancelling to help kids focus while listening at lower volumes.

The headphones are made to be portable and durable. The wireless models, JBL Junior 470NC and 320BT, are compact and foldable, allowing easy switching between Bluetooth devices. They offer up to 50 hours of battery life, perfect for travel.

The new headphones come in fun colors and have larger controls for kids. The packaging for the JBL Junior 470NC and 320BT can be turned into a stand for phones or tablets, and includes stickers to encourage creativity.

The JBL Junior 320, a wired option, has a built-in volume limit of 85dB to protect kids’ hearing, but it does not work with the JBL Headphones App.

These headphones are meant for children aged 3-8 years. The JBL Junior 470NC is available in Blue, Pink, and White, while the JBL Junior 320BT comes in Green, Blue, and Purple. The wired JBL Junior 320 is available in Purple and Blue. You can find these headphones at various stores.
