Nothing’s first over-ear Headphones leak ahead of July Unveiling

Nothing is known for its unique mid-range Android phones, like the 3a Pro. However, the UK brand started with wireless earbuds and is now set to launch its first over-ear headphones on July 1. We don’t have to wait for the event to see them, as some pictures have leaked online.

The Headphone 1, if the leaked images are real, looks very different from other products. Photos shared by Nothing Fan Blog show a clear design that resembles a cassette tape stuck to smooth metal. The headphones are expected to come in black/gray and silver/white colors.

It’s hard to tell what materials the headphones are made of from the leaked pictures, but they seem to have at least three buttons: two on the left earcup and one on the top. One picture also shows a wire attached to the headphones, likely meaning they have a 3.5mm plug.

We can’t be sure if this is the final design of the Headphone 1, but they could definitely stand out in a crowded market.

Nothing’s CEO, Carl Pei, confirmed that the Headphone 1 will launch on July 1, along with the new flagship phone, the Phone 3, during a live event at SXSW in London earlier this month. Engadget’s Igor Bonifac was impressed with the Phone 3a and 3a Pro when he reviewed them earlier this year, but noted they have a limited warranty in the US.
