Google has launched its new Home Speaker, priced at $99.99, featuring the built-in Gemini AI assistant. The new device replaces both the Nest Mini and Nest Audio, making it Google’s main smart speaker. Gemini offers more natural conversations, supports multiple commands in one request, and allows users to continue asking questions without repeating the wake word.
The Home Speaker delivers 360-degree sound with improved bass, supports stereo pairing and multi-room audio, and includes a microphone mute switch for privacy. Buyers also receive a six-month Google Home Premium trial. The speaker will be available globally from June 25 in several color options, with some exclusive colors offered only through the Google Store in the US.
