Endless Power Meets Bold Pricing in Nothing’s Latest Over-Ear Headphones

CMF is stepping into the over-ear headphone market with its new **Headphones Pro**, offering an affordable alternative to Nothing’s premium models while introducing distinct design touches. Priced at just **$99**, these headphones undercut the **$299 Nothing Headphone (1)** and feature a **semi-modular design** with swappable ear cushions.

Unlike Nothing’s futuristic, square-shaped design, the **CMF Headphones Pro** adopt a classic, non-foldable form with oversized **leather-padded ear cushions** available in multiple colors. The headphones themselves come in **Black, Light Gray, and Light Green**, and offer versatile controls, including a **roller for volume/playback, an audio profile slider, and a customizable shortcut key**. Lightweight at **283 grams** and rated **IPX2 for water resistance**, they are built for everyday use.

Under the hood, CMF equips the headphones with **custom nickel-plated 40mm drivers**, tuned by Nothing, and certified for **Hi-Res wired and wireless audio**. Bluetooth support includes **LDAC, SBC, and AAC**, while hybrid **adaptive ANC** (also called ENC) blocks up to **40 dB of ambient noise**. A **three-microphone system** manages calls, and **transparency mode** lets in ambient sound when needed.

Additional features include **static spatial audio** with Cinema and Concert modes, **low-latency mode** for gaming and streaming, and compatibility with iOS and Android through the **Nothing X app**. Battery life is impressive, offering **100 hours of playback** (or 50 hours with ANC/calls active), with a **five-minute quick charge** delivering four hours of use and a full charge taking around **two hours**. Users can also charge directly via **USB-C from a smartphone**.

The **CMF Headphones Pro** are already available in most regions, with **U.S. shipping beginning October 7**. Extra ear cushions are sold separately for **$25 per pair**, making CMF’s entry-level over-ear headphones a compelling budget-friendly alternative with high-end features.
